Cargo Gear

We can undertake the Loadtest of Cranes with modern, certified dynamometers and waterbags as well as the examination, test and certification of swivels, shackles, hooks, chain blocks and all other types of loose gear in order to ensure that all parts are in good working order and condition.We provide Annual Inspection service and five yearly Load testing on all types deck cranes, derricks, mobile cranes and shore based cranes, lifting tackles, grab buckets, slings, shackles, hooks, chain pulley blocks and all types of lifting equipments.We are approved by Chief Inspector of Factory for testing and examination of lifting machinery and lifting tackles as Competent Persons.

AJ Marine maintaining a high-level of safety for the operations of cargo handling equipment is of significant importance to ship-owners and seafarers. All cargo handling equipment onboard should be inspected by trained, experienced, and responsible officers prior and after use. No equipment should be used or operated unless the certificates of tests and examinations are onboard the vessel and valid.

All Lifting Appliances and Loose Gears should be annually inspected. Cargo handling equipment should be operationally tested with their specified maximum operational load and certified by approved authorities in every five years.
